WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK TOGETHER?
-
Being person-centered means just that. Whether you are my student, client or supervisee; who you are matters. In alignment with humanistic counseling traditions; being person-centered allows me to see the basic goodness and humanity in everyone I work with.
-
I believe relationships are a core source of both harm and healing in our lives.
Relationship can be a space to explore sensations in the present-moment, helping us to better understand ourselves, the world, and those around us.
-
Liberation is the act of setting oneself free from imprisonment and oppression. This can include the limits placed on us through our thoughts and behavior.
Liberation focused support allows us to understand our own personal power and free ourselves from unnecessary stories about who we are.
-
Using Gestalt theory I engage with mindfulness and the present moment to invite reflection and exploration of the body and somatic sensation.
Facilitating connections between the mind and body can provide a space of deeper understanding, awareness and choice in our lives and work.
